Job summary

BMC Software's Helix team seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead full lifecycle delivery of complex federal IT engagements, from initiation through deployment and sustainment.

You will build integrated project plans, manage budgets, ensure RMF/NIST compliance, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

Strong communication, executive presence, and PMP or related certifications are highly valued; active clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years leading enterprise software implementations for US Federal Agencies or DoD.
• Experience navigating federal governance structures and security requirements.
• Active PMP preferred; ITIL/Agile/Scrum/SAFe beneficial and align with federal standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic interface to executive sponsors and technical leads across complex federal engagements.
• Establish delivery governance, drive governance frameworks, and maintain executive‑ready reporting.
• Own full lifecycle delivery of BMC Helix implementations from initiation to sustainment.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through design, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational transition.
• Coordinate with security teams to meet RMF and NIST requirements; manage cloud deployments.
• Prepare clients for long‑term success with cutover planning, knowledge transfer, and sustainment readiness.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, burn rates, and contract deliverables with precision.
