Job summary

The City of Bellevue is seeking a strategic Facility Operations Section Manager to shape the vision for operations across 13 facilities totaling over 700,000 square feet. You will lead a team of 11 maintenance professionals, drive data-driven decision making, manage budgets, and oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, tenant support, and lifecycle replacements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Public Administration, Project/Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in facility management.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory and team leadership experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearance.
• Must possess or obtain a WA state driver’s license by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establish vision and strategic direction for the section.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate staff; provide leadership and guidance in skill development and service delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, payroll accuracy, scheduling, and labor agreements compliance.
• Direct maintenance and lifecycle management for ~13 facilities and 700,000+ sq ft of space.
• Lead data-driven decision making with reporting tools and KPIs.
