Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking a Facilities Projects Manager who coordinates all phases of building projects from concept through design implementation on the Irvine campus.

Under the Senior Director, you will plan, develop and implement projects, collaborate with contractors and internal teams, and ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in facility maintenance and operations.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of California Building Codes and construction practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of building projects from concept through design implementation.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and reporting for facility projects.
