Job summary

JLL is seeking a Chief Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead the building's engineering team and ensure safe, reliable operation of all mechanical and electrical systems.

You will supervise engineers, drive preventive maintenance, manage contractor activities, and maintain regulatory compliance and infrastructure records while fostering a culture of safety and professionalism within a high-performing facility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facilities-related work experience with 5+ years in leadership/management
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and construction planning/execution
• Experience with HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficient with MS Office and CMMS systems
• Strong verbal and written communication with excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, pumps and related equipment
• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff, including hiring, training and performance management
• Manage inventory, procurement, stocks and vendor relationships
• Identify safety hazards and implement remediation; manage safety training and compliance
• Oversee contractor activities and CFWA process; maintain infrastructure drawings and records
