Job summary

The Charter Club Inc in Miami seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead strategy, oversee facilities, systems and equipment, and supervise the maintenance team and external vendors. Deliver safety, functionality, and aesthetics while upholding the organization’s service standards.

This role requires 7+ years in maintenance leadership (3+ in supervision), strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems for high-rise environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in a maintenance leadership role, with 3+ years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Life Safety equipment for high-rise/condo environments.
• HVAC, CPO or OSHA certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale maintenance operations and budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance software; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the community.
• Oversee maintenance of all major systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team; train staff and ensure high performance.
• Maintain relationships with external contractors and vendors; ensure timely, budget-conscious service.
• Review bids and proposals for major projects; ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial decisions for maintenance.
• Collaborate on long-term facility planning, renovations, and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety standards; conduct safety audits.
• Inspect property regularly; identify safety concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead emergency response and disaster preparedness; coordinate with leadership.
• Provide detailed reports on maintenance operations and project progress.
