Job summary

Washington County Facilities Division seeks a Division Manager to lead Operations & Maintenance, Real Estate & Planning, and Capital Projects. You will develop long-range plans, manage a $23M operating budget, and guide policy, workflow, and performance improvements.

A strong focus on safety, staff development, and cross-department collaboration is required. The role requires clear communication with the Board of Commissioners, elected officials, and the public.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field with supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and budget development.
• Experience guiding division staff and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to Operations & Maintenance, Real Estate & Planning, and Capital Projects.
• Develop a 5-year capital improvement plan and a $23M annual operating budget.
• Represent the division before the Board of Commissioners as needed.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure a safe, productive workplace.
