Job summary

Matrix Project Services is seeking an Expeditor to ensure on-time delivery of major equipment and materials for EPC projects. You will expedite with suppliers, certify progress for payments, and maintain receiving transactions in the company systems.

You will report to the Procurement Manager, coordinate with Project Management and QA teams, and participate in supplier performance evaluations while occasionally traveling to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in procurement administration, expediting, scheduling and accounting.
• Energy/ EPC sector background preferred.
• ERP experience preferred; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Exposure to Penta, Dynamics, SAP and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Expedite suppliers for on-time deliveries and monitor progress.
• Maintain logs and expediting reports; review with Procurement Manager.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Construction and Scheduling.
• Issue regular expediting status reports and support performance evaluations.
• Coordinate QA inspections, ITPs, shipping, and vendor corrective actions.
• Travel as needed (10–20%) and support procurement in meetings.
