Job summary

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is seeking a Project Expeditor in Houston to track materials, deliverables, and shipments from order entry through final delivery.

The role collaborates with Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality Control, Shipping, and customers to keep milestones on schedule and protect on-time delivery. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years in project expediting or related fields, with strong Excel and ERP skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• At least two years of project expediting, coordination, procurement, or production-control experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Track assigned projects, purchase orders, materials, drawings, fabrication, inspections, and shipments against schedules and delivery commitments.
• Maintain project expediting logs, milestone trackers, open-item lists, and status reports with current information.
• Follow up with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality Control, Shipping, and others to obtain updates and keep activities moving forward.
• Identify schedule risks, material shortages, overdue items, and bottlenecks; elevate to Project Manager.
