Job summary

Veros Credit in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Strategic Collections Specialist for exotic auto and powersports loans to manage past-due accounts. You will work closely with dealerships, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain strong partnerships.

The role requires a proactive, investigative mindset, service orientation, and experience with skip tracing. You may negotiate payment plans and ensure compliance with FDCPA while documenting all activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in auto finance collections, exotic vehicle lending, or powersports loan servicing.
• Prefered experience handling high volume exotic auto loans and powersports vehicle loans.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, planning and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for strategic dealership delinquent accounts and high-balance loan servicing.
• Research and resolve special loan statuses with dealerships, customers, and internal teams.
• Use skip tracing tools to locate delinquent borrowers in the powersports segment.
• Negotiate payment plans and help borrowers resolve delinquencies to retain their vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and FDCPA regulations.
• Document account activity and arrangements professionally.
• Process payments, schedule due dates, and prepare deferment/ modification correspondence.
• Maintain strong communication with internal departments, dealers, and customers.
• Provide clerical support as needed (scanning, mailing, faxing).
• Other duties as assigned.
