Job summary

IREN is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the VP of Platform Engineering and partner with the leadership team. You’ll shape business processes, streamline information flow, and ensure updates are collected and shared efficiently.

The role requires coordinating complex calendars, driving autonomy in a fast-growing environment, and assisting with interview loops and pipeline visibility. This is a hands-on, high-impact position in Seattle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting senior leaders, as an executive assistant, business support partner, or in a similar role.
• Experience managing complex calendars across time zones, and deciding what takes precedence when two things cannot both happen.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of ambiguity and reach outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with sound judgement on what to elevate, handle, or leave alone.
• Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
• Excellent organization and follow-through, tracking commitments to close them out.
• Proficiency with everyday business tools including calendar, email, documents, spreadsheets, and messaging/collaboration platforms.
• Preference for high-trust, high-autonomy environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex calendar for the VP of Platform Engineering and support scheduling across the leadership team.
• Act as a business partner to the leadership team, improving communication, tracking work, and reporting progress.
• Streamline business processes and create repeatable ways of working where none exist yet.
• Collect and distribute project updates to keep leaders and teams informed.
• Support hiring: coordinate interview loops, inform candidates, and partner with recruiting on scheduling and pipeline visibility.
• Run the operating rhythm: leadership meetings, all-hands, offsites, and team events.
