Yona Eagle in Maryland is seeking a District Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the district. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality resident care while managing staff and resources.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, experience in healthcare housekeeping, and the ability to develop managers, meet policies, and coordinate with residents and departments.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years’ experience in housekeeping services and multi-facility management in a healthcare environment is desired.
• General business acumen and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Manages in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Visits each facility in the district to meet managers and provide feedback for professional development.
• Maintains contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work by Environmental Services Directors and Supervisors.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive, and orderly at each facility.
• Forecasts and plans purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Reviews and analyzes all reports for the district.
• Interviews, hires and orients Environmental Services Managers and Supervisors.
• Maintains proper staffing levels and knowledge of CBAs.
• Attains financial goals by managing a cost-effective program.
• Maintains records, conducts staff meetings, and coordinates with other departments.
