Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an Event & Retail Marketing professional to drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through events, showrooms, and partnerships. Weekend work (40 partial/full weekends per year) and travel across the MD & VA service area are required.

The role involves coaching Retail Marketing Reps, managing calendars, negotiating with sponsors and vendors, and collaborating with Renewal to achieve established objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
• Experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• In-field coaching, training, and in booth work.
• Recruiting and interviewing.
• Classroom training. Teaching staff methodology, rebuttals, process and procedures.
• Manages the department calendar including; negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space and to obtain the best value for our investment. Oversees participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities based on established objectives, including on-site administration, resource supervision, and other implementation details.
• Collaborate with partners within Renewal to drive results.
• Communicate results and strategy with management.
