Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 5–7 years in marketing or events, incl. 3+ years in people or project management.
• Project management experience essential.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
• Experience in professional services; law firm or political background preferred.
• Self-starter in fast-paced, team- and deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; multitask capable.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.
• Flexible and creative in meeting attorney needs; work well with attorneys and staff.
• Strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute logistics for events and programs.
• Provide on-site management for client events in Washington, DC.
• Support global events team with lists, venue research, and planning of events and retreats.
• Collaborate with BD and partners on program strategy, budget, audience, topics, and speakers.
• Research venues and contracts for venues, catering, AV needs.
• Create and edit event invitations; maintain event details in Salesforce.
• Liaise with catering, facilities, security, design and BD teams.
• Process invoices in ChromeRiver; manage event budgets.
• Review and negotiate event contracts per firm policies.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate production of nametags, signage, gifts, materials.
• Maintain timelines and provide updates to attorneys and staff.
• Prepare post-event analysis reports.
