Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP is seeking an Events Manager for the Marketing department, based in Washington, DC with hybrid work capabilities. You will plan and manage logistics for seminars, receptions, tradeshows, and internal events, while partnering with BD and attorneys to align strategy, audience, and budgeting.

The role requires 5–7 years in marketing or events, a bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel; strong communication and organizational skills are essential to deliver

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree; 5–7 years of marketing or events experience.
• Project management experience essential.
• Willingness to travel and work some nights/weekends.
• Experience in a professional services environment or law firm preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and execute all logistics for events and programs.
• Provide on-site management for client events in the Capitol Hill office.
• Support global events team with venue research and planning.
• Collaborate with BD and partners on program strategy, budget, and topics.
• Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and track expenses.
• Produce post-event reports on attendance and budgets.
