Job summary

Big Money Retirement is seeking an Events Manager to own the strategy, execution, and measurement of our seminar and event platform across markets. You will build an event operating system that scales with the Firm, select venues strategically, staff events, capture data, and drive follow-ups to convert marketing activity into client opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, events coordination, marketing coordination, inside sales, appointment setting, customer service, or a similar client-facing role preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Event Operations & Execution across all markets.
• Oversee pre-event, event-day, and post-event procedures and ensure consistent execution.
• Ensure complete data capture in Salesforce for every event and follow-up.
• Maintain and deliver a recurring Event Performance Report to the Director of Marketing.
• Market Scalability & Venue Management: research, evaluate, negotiate, and secure venues.
• Establish Venue Performance Scorecards and Market Heat Analyses.
• Ensure every new market is operationally prepared before its first seminar.
• Team Leadership & Standards: set responsibilities and enforce standards across CESs and Event Coordinators.
• Review KPI performance and coach team while identifying gaps.
• Create consistency across markets so the experience is uniform.
• Prospect Re-Engagement & Referral Strategy: re-engage non-attendees and those in the pipeline.
• Prepare Advisor Re-Engagement Packages for elevated opportunities.
• Design and refine a scalable Referral Event Program with 20–25 attendees per event.
