The Events Manager owns the strategy, execution, measurement, and scalability of Big Money Retirement’s seminar and event platform across all existing and future markets. This role is accountable for building an event operating system capable of growing with the Firm — ensuring venues are strategically selected, events are properly staffed and equipped, data is accurately captured and analyzed, follow‑up occurs on every prospect, and leadership maintains clear visibility into performance across every market. Every event must produce measurable intelligence that helps Big Money Retirement make the next event, and the next market, better.
As the Firm expands into new markets, the Events Manager serves as the central point of accountability for seminar operations across the organization. This includes leading Client Engagement Specialists and Event Coordinators from an event‑execution perspective, evaluating venue and market performance, identifying trends within the prospect journey, and continuously improving the Firm’s ability to convert marketing activity into meaningful client opportunities. The Events Manager works within a structured and aligned leadership ecosystem, carrying full accountability for individual execution, team performance, data quality, and the protection of the Firm’s event infrastructure and proprietary processes.

Responsibilities
- Event Operations & Execution
- Oversee all pre‑event, event‑day, and post‑event procedures across every Big Money Retirement market, ensuring consistent execution by all CESs and Event Coordinators.
- Ensure complete and accurate data capture in Salesforce for every event — including registrations, RSVPs, actual attendance, household attendance, no‑shows, appointments booked, appointment source, advisor/presenter, event costs, and follow‑up status.
- Maintain and deliver a recurring Event Performance Report to the Director of Marketing covering RSVP rates, show rates, booking rates, appointment show rates, venue and market trends, team performance, no‑show pipelines, and recommended actions.
- Market Scalability & Venue Management
- Research, evaluate, negotiate, and secure dinner seminar venues in existing and new markets, assessing demographic fit, accessibility, AV capability, food quality, room effectiveness, and overall guest experience.
- Establish and maintain a Venue Performance Scorecard and Market Heat Analysis for every recurring venue — identifying whether venues are growing, stable, or declining and recommending corrective action accordingly.
- Ensure every new market is operationally prepared before its first seminar, including equipment readiness, staffing coordination, billing arrangements, and backup venue options.

- Design, launch, and continuously refine a scalable Referral Event Program that leverages existing client relationships to generate qualified introductions, targeting approximately 20–25 attendees per event where a referral is the entry point.
