The Source Hotel in Denver seeks a Sales & Catering Coordinator to unite people, planning, and personal touches for weddings, meetings, and events. You’ll support sales initiatives, brand storytelling, and the unique guest experience that sets The Source Hotel apart.

As a flexible, organized professional, you will nurture client relations, upsell revenue opportunities, and coordinate detailed event logistics across multiple departments to ensure flawless execution and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel sales, catering, event planning, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple hotel departments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel sales, CRM, or property management systems preferred.
• Experience managing LinkedIn or other professional social media platforms, including content creation and engagement, preferred.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates contracted group, meeting, wedding, and social event business from sales turnover through execution.
• Prepares and maintains accurate event documentation, including BEOs, group resumes, menus, diagrams, and emails.
• Manages meeting and banquet space and coordinates logistics like room setups, F&B, A/V, timelines, vendors, and special requests.
• Coordinates group room blocks, reservations, deposits, payments, and billing with hotel departments.
• Communicates event changes to departments, participates in meetings, and resolves challenges for successful events.
• Provides onsite event support and conducts post-event follow-up to gather feedback and secure repeat business.
• Serves as primary client liaison after contract, maintaining relationships and addressing questions.
