Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred or equivalent
• 1 year professional experience in event management and/or venue operations
• Customer service experience is required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage event needs for Destination El Paso
• Meet with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events
• Prepare cost estimates and settle event costs with clients
• Communicate requirements to operations teams
• Schedule event staff and adjust schedules for cost efficiency
• Maintain event-related reports and files
• Attend planning meetings and support facility operations
• Maintain relationships with clients, staff, exhibitors and vendors
