Job summary

Legends is seeking an Event Coordinator in El Paso, TX to manage and execute all event-related needs for Destination El Paso clients, focusing on service excellence and client retention.

Under supervision, you will plan meetings, interpret contracts, coordinate floor plans, prepare cost estimates, billings, and coordinate with police, security, and other teams to ensure successful events. A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business and 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One (1) year professional experience in event management and/or venue operations.
• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages event details with clients and staff.
• Explains contract provisions, policies, and procedures to clients.
• Prepares cost estimates, monitors billing, and handles invoicing.
• Schedules event staff and adjusts work schedules for cost efficiency.
• Coordinates with security and emergency services when needed.
