Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC seeks a Material Planning Specialist to perform inventory control and essential procurement functions for the MNAe BSA MG plant. You will analyze materials, components, and services to secure favorable cost and terms in line with quality and manufacturing standards.

The role requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, daily monitoring of material needs, cycle counting, and ERP/MES use to prevent shortages and optimize stock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in Just in Sequence production control in the automotive industry.
• Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / MOBIS preferred
• Experience in automotive assembly/manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP PP/MM/SD and MES systems is desirable

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control and procurement planning for the MNAe BSA MG plant.
• Monitor material availability and cost analysis for production
• Maintain material master data (usage, BOM, etc.) and monitor model year changes
• Use SAP, MES, and supplier portals to track orders and resolve issues
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to prevent shortages and optimize stock
• Lead cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and reporting of variances
• Process incoming parts, GR verification, ASN, and packing slips with documentation
• Support DMR/RMA processes and maintain records for audits
