RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Principal Estimating & Pricing specialist in McKinney, TX. You will partner with program leadership, finance, and engineering to drive proposal activities for ISR systems programs and ensure compliant, competitive pricing strategies.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements and exposure to government procurement regulations, DCAA audits, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with Proposal Development and Cost Volume Management.
• Experience with industry estimating and pricing, policy, practices and/or procedures.
• Experience with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule proposal efforts.
• Support proposal pricing activities and Cost Volume Development.
• Compile cost, schedule and technical elements in the development of proposals for RFPs per FAR.
• Coordinate collection of cost, scheduling and performance data from functional departments.
• Analyze BOMs and BOEs for reasonableness and backup data.
• Research historical data to support proposals.
• Prepare and present internal management reviews up to Director level.
• Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings.
• Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
• Support DCAA proposal audits.
• Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team.
• Provide guidance to teammates to meet proposal objectives.
