Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a senior finance leader to oversee proposal pricing, cost modeling, and compliance across a broad portfolio. You will mentor a high‑performing team and partner with cross‑functional groups to deliver compliant, winning proposals.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced Excel and data analysis skills, and experience with FAR/DFARS, CAS, and audits. Remote work with periodic travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• Experience in proposal development, finance, or accounting.
• Experience with government regulations related to developing and negotiating cost proposals (FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA) and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of eight finance professionals overseeing proposal efforts from large sole‑source pursuits to competitive bids.
• Develop pricing strategies and complex cost models to support compliant and compelling proposals.
• Manage a broad portfolio of proposal and estimating activities ensuring quality, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Conduct independent reviews of proposal packages and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS regulations and Estimating System policies.
• Support capture and proposal development activities including early gate reviews and price-to-win strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to align requirements and deliverables.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies and support audit responses as needed.
• Drive process compliance and continuous improvement across estimating and pricing practices.
• Mentor team members and strengthen estimating capabilities across the organization.
