Smurfit Westrock in the United States seeks a Senior Risk Analyst to support the Enterprise Risk Management program, including risk identification, assessment, and monitoring. You’ll help maintain the ERM register and prepare executive reporting for leadership and the Board.

You will analyze macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry trends to identify emerging risks and work with cross-functional teams to document mitigations and improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, public accounting, finance, compliance, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-level materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Support the execution and ongoing enhancement of the ERM program, including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and monitoring.
• Coordinate enterprise risk assessments, including risk owner interviews, analysis of inputs, and documentation of changes in risk exposure and mitigation status.
• Maintain and enhance the enterprise risk register to confirm accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business and strategic priorities.
• Contribute to executive and Board-level reporting materials for senior leadership and the Board/Audit Committee.
• Analyze internal and external trends to identify and assess emerging risks.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to document key risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support ERM methodologies, tools, and governance processes to enhance consistency and transparency.
• Connect principal risks to strategic initiatives and internal audit coverage to improve visibility.
