Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Audit to execute assurance and advisory IA projects including financial, enterprise, and technology audits, plus Sarbanes-Oxley testing. The role requires collaboration with process owners and external auditors, with travel to Smurfit WestRock sites as part of the duties.

The incumbent will help strengthen risk/control assurance, deliver data-driven insights, and support continuous improvement in the changing global risk environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, CS or Engineering.
• 3+ years in a large Public Company Internal Audit or SOX; or 2+ years at a Big4/public firm.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal audits of compliance, operations and finances.
• Support SOX 404 program testing and document work performed.
• Collaborate with process owners and external auditors for walkthroughs and testing.
• Support IA activities across operational, compliance, plant, and technology audits.
• Contribute to QA/IM programs and continuous improvement of IA practices.
