Job summary
Western Alliance Bank is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Senior Manager - Strategic Risk to lead and evolve enterprise risk programs, including risk identification, appetite, governance, and reporting. Qualifications
- 8+ years of risk management experience in financial services.
- Advanced knowledge of COSO ERM Framework, Basel, and related controls.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Leadership experience and team management skills are required.
- Experience across one or more of the three lines of defense and reporting to executives/boards.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and enhancement of Enterprise Risk Management programs across the bank.
- Oversee Risk Identification, Risk Appetite, governance, and board/reporting activities.
- Develop executive-ready materials for ERMC/DRC and regulator communications.
- Manage a small team (2–7) and drive continuous improvement.
