Job summary

Smurfit WestRock plc is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Consumer Packaging HR team. You will drive strategic, cross-functional HR programs from planning to execution, aligning with business priorities and governance structures.

You will partner with HR leadership, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders to deliver measurable results, informed by workforce data and change management best practices. This role requires independent, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in human resources, HR business partnering, program management, organizational development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading complex, cross-functional programs from planning through implementation and measurement.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and operating models, and the interdependencies across HR partners and leadership.
• Experience supporting a complex, matrixed organization; manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional HR programs aligned with Consumer Packaging and enterprise priorities.
• Translate strategic priorities into clearly defined program plans with scope, milestones, and success measures.
• Develop and maintain governance, reporting mechanisms, and executive communications.
• Analyze workforce, financial, and operational data to generate insights for leadership decisions.
• Coordinate planning, progress reviews, and change management across stakeholders.
• Create concise executive-ready presentations and status updates for senior HR and business leaders.
