Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a skilled Equipment Solutions Team leader for a virtual role supporting HVAC projects in the United States. You will develop strategies, lead a high-volume team, and nurture key national accounts.

The role requires 2+ years in HVAC project management or estimating, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision. A valid driver’s license is required, and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years HVAC project management or estimating experience; or 5 years total education/experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours as required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a vision and strategy for the Equipment Solutions Team focused on top-tier customer experience.
• Coach team members to improve effectiveness and efficiency, handling high order volumes and meeting timelines with accuracy.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with national customers to build value and trust.
• Oversee equipment selections by reviewing plans, specs, and estimates for size, voltage, and options.
• Identify potential cost savings or challenges on projects.
• Validate project scope by reviewing transition documents and submittals; support sales as needed.
• Ensure correct equipment, pricing, and cost reconciliation to maintain profitability.
• Streamline fulfillment to manage year-over-year growth in order volume and meet delivery expectations.
