Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement for a major EPC-capital project, ensuring timely, compliant acquisition of engineered equipment, bulk materials, and subcontracted services.

The role interfaces with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Contracts, Legal, and Government Compliance, overseeing planning, supplier strategy, and risk mitigation while delivering on budget and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, PMP) preferred.
• 10–15+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in an EPC or large capital project environment.
• Proven experience managing procurement for large, complex capital projects, preferably with government or defense-related funding.
• Strong FAR/DPAS knowledge and compliance.
• Experience with engineered equipment, bulk materials, and construction services.
• Experience working with domestic and international suppliers and complex logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Project Procurement Execution Plan, aligned with contract requirements, project schedule, and sourcing strategy.
• Lead supplier prequalification, bid strategy development, solicitation, evaluation, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and conditions in compliance with client contracts, company policies, FAR/DFAR, and flow-down requirements.
• Ensure suppliers and subcontractors comply with DPAS ratings, priority delivery requirements, and government-mandated schedules.
• Support site materials management, inventory control, and logistics.
• Interface with Engineering to align technical specs, vendor data requirements, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Project Controls on forecasting and procurement status reporting.
• Maintain audit-ready procurement documentation for government and internal audits.
