Job summary

DZConneX Solutions Ltd seeks an Environmental Services leader for the Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada. You will guide policy development, ensure compliance with state, federal, and DoD environmental regulations, and oversee budgeting and training to Depot personnel.

The role requires coordinating with the director, enforcing safety standards, and managing resources to meet contractual requirements while upholding corporate governance. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contractual environmental requirements including State, Federal, and Dept of Defense environmental regulations and policies.
• Must be able to develop policies, procedures and techniques.
• Must be able to create and maintain budgets.
• Must have knowledge of required environmental permitting, licensing, and reporting.
• Must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Work with the director to plan and develop policies, goals, and budgets related to the function. Enforce company policy and safety standards. Establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general schedules. Ensure compliance with established deadlines. 20%
• Assure corporate compliance with contractual requirements including State, Federal, and Dept of Defense environmental regulations and policies at the Hawthorne Depot. Provide training in environmental compliance to Depot personnel. Advise all organizations on the Environmental impact of Depot operations 20%
• Responsible for the effective and efficient management of all resources assigned and/or allocated to the Directorate for the execution of the mission, functions, and contractual requirements. 20%
• Responsible for executing all orders and directives received from the General Manager. 10%
• Develop policies, procedures and techniques for the Office. Ensure, through subordinate personnel, that required environmental permitting, licensing, and reporting is accomplished in support of Depot Activities. 20%
• Responsible for providing oversight and leadership within the guidelines of the Defense Industry Initiative Program. 10%
