Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking an Environmental Services leader to oversee compliance and policy at the Hawthorne Army Depot. The role involves directing environmental programs, budgeting, training personnel, and ensuring adherence to state, federal, and DoD requirements.

The position demands strategic leadership, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage complex regulatory frameworks while safeguarding workforce safety and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Environmental Management experience; executive management experience helpful.
• Gov contracting experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan policies, goals, and budgets; enforce safety standards and deadlines.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at Hawthorne Depot; train personnel.
• Manage Directorate resources to execute mission and contract requirements.
• Execute orders from the General Manager.
• Develop policies and procedures; ensure environmental permitting and reporting.
• Provide oversight within Defense Industry Initiative guidelines.
