Job summary

ERM is a global sustainability consultancy hiring a Consulting Partner, Environmental Compliance to lead development and delivery of innovative client solutions. This role strengthens compliance, reduces risk, and enhances operational performance within ERM’s Sustainable Operations practice.

Based in the Mountain or Pacific regions, with a preference for Irvine, Seattle, Portland, or Walnut Creek, the successful candidate will guide strategy, build client relationships, and mentor leaders while

Qualifications

15+ years of EHS compliance, environmental compliance, and risk management experience.
Executive-level consulting or corporate leadership with business development track record.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted client relationships.
Broad experience across compliance, reporting, and operational risk.
Strong communication, collaboration, and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead client relationship development, sales, and delivery of ERM’s consulting services.
Develop and implement EHS compliance and risk management systems.
Advise clients on data management, reporting, and disclosure for EHS.
Develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities.
Build and lead a high-performing consulting team.
Drive service innovation and cross-service-line collaboration.
Expand ERM’s visibility through thought leadership and partnerships.
