Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consulting Partner, Environmental Compliance to lead transformative environmental programs for major clients. Based in Gulf offices (Houston, New Orleans, Austin, or Dallas) with a flexible, hybrid work setup, you will shape strategies, manage risk, and drive sustainable operational performance.

You will cultivate senior client relationships, guide cross-functional teams, and contribute to ERM’s long-term growth in environmental compliance leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in EHS compliance, environmental compliance, and risk management.
• Executive-level consulting or corporate leadership with business development success.
• Proven ability to build and sustain senior client relationships.
• Broad experience across compliance, reporting, and operational risk solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to develop high-performing teams.
• Established client network or expertise in sectors such as technology, energy, or other industrial markets.
• Demonstrated success growing consulting practices or service lines.
• Experience contributing to strategic business direction at a senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationship development, sales, and delivery of ERM’s consulting services.
• Develop and implement EHS compliance and risk management systems to strengthen governance.
• Advise clients on data management, reporting, and disclosure related to EHS performance.
• Drive commercial strategy to pursue and win new business aligned with ERM’s priorities.
• Co-develop practical, innovative solutions that deliver long-term client value.
• Build, grow, and lead a high-performing consulting team while mentoring emerging leaders.
• Collaborate across ERM service lines to drive innovation and deliver integrated solutions.
• Expand ERM’s market visibility through thought leadership and industry partnerships.
