Job summary

Charter Communications, operating as Spectrum, seeks a Strategic Sales Engineer II to design and present advanced fiber network solutions for national business clients. You will work with account teams to craft proposals, support RFIs/RFPs and deliver technical presentations to executive leadership.

The role emphasizes Metro Ethernet, Internet, Wave, VOIP, PRI and Video solutions, collaborating with Network Engineering, Operations and Product teams to create unique offerings. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in telecom/service provider
• CCDA or CCNA certification required
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent preferred
• Ability to design and present advanced network solutions for national business clients
• Valid driver's license and driving record

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' business and technical needs and provide strategic recommendations
• Deliver technical presentations and proposals for national accounts
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and product teams on service offerings
• Develop responses for RFIs/RFPs and support proof of concept designs
• Present solutions to large enterprise customers and executive leaders
• Stay current with industry trends to inform solution design and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with Spectrum policies and procedures
