Job summary
Charter Communications through the Spectrum brand is seeking a Vertical Sales Engineer II to design fiber internet access, private networking and voice solutions for mid-market clients. You will partner with sales and customers to deliver strategic proposals and drive successful implementations.
Responsibilities include creating topology-aware designs, pricing, and coordination with engineering and operations for seamless deployments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in telecom/service provider
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required
- Strong proposal design and cost estimation skills
- Experience with voice/data network solutions for mid-market clients
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and sales teams to assess environments and needs
- Design complex voice and data network solutions with topologies and specs
- Prepare pre-sale designs and collaborate with Engineering for review and costing
- Develop project cost elements and assist with pricing and IRR analyses
- Present technical proposals and guide customer through integration and implementation
- Provide post-sale documentation and support to installation teams
