Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking an Enterprise Data Management Lead to drive governance strategy, policies, and lifecycle controls. You will partner with data owners and executives to ensure data is trusted, well‑defined, and compliant across the enterprise.

You will lead governance programs, oversee metadata standards, and advance data quality initiatives while navigating regulatory requirements and complex data landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise data management or governance in regulated industries.
• Financial services experience in banking/wealth is highly preferred.
• 10+ years enabling data warehouse/cloud data platform governance with architecture/engineering partners.
• Experience building and transforming enterprise data governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategy, implementation, and maturation of Enterprise Data Management and Governance.
• Maintain and evolve data governance framework, policies, standards, and SOPs.
• Partner with business lines to map processes, data flows, and CDEs.
• Collaborate with Data Owners/Stewards to ensure data usage and lifecycle practices.
• Recommend enhancements to governance processes and tools to meet strategy.
• Identify data quality issues and drive improvement actions with business teams.
• Conduct gap analyses to inform target-state governance models.
• Support metadata standards, data classifications, and reference data alignment.
• Translate business needs into data requirements and governance artifacts.
• Partner with architecture/analytics/platform teams to embed governance.
• Facilitate change management for data ownership and access controls.
• Promote governance adoption via training and communications.
• Chair/co-chair data governance committees and guide stakeholders.
