Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced data governance leader to drive enterprise data management across risk and commercial banking domains. You will oversee data quality, governance, reporting and metadata management for initiatives in liquidity solutions, payments, FX, and trade finance.

You will lead teams, set policies, ensure compliance, and collaborate with business partners to deliver trusted, actionable data that supports performance and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in risk management with enterprise data warehouse exposure.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and modern data platforms.
• Proven agile data product delivery across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Data Enhancement – Leads projects and processes to improve enterprise data quality and governance.
• Business Support – Develops data policies and oversees data validation and reporting.
• Managerial Functions – Manages staff performance, training, and development.
