Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a senior data governance professional to lead enterprise data quality, governance, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on improving data across the organization and providing expert consultation to IT, Data Council, and stakeholders.

You will drive technical innovation and guide cross-functional teams in data management projects. You will create and maintain documentation for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, including mappings and data

Qualifications

Understanding of data warehousing, transformation, lineage, and ETL processes
Knowledge of data spreadsheets and databases
SAS programming knowledge (Base SAS / SAS Enterprise Guide)

Responsibilities

Lead enhancements for data quality, management, and storage across the enterprise data warehouse.
Build dashboards to modernize analytics and support data projects.
Enforce data policies and procedures; promote cross-functional feedback.
Develop strategic roadmaps for data management capabilities and cross-functional collaboration.
Document data warehouse mappings and create centralized critical reports.
Mentor junior consultants in the work group.
