Job summary

Black Box in Plano, TX seeks a Workforce Planning & Forecasting professional to develop short- and long-term staffing plans across multiple accounts. You will forecast headcount, monitor capacity against demand, and align staffing with SLA targets.

Join a cross-functional team to coordinate resource allocation, support large projects, and translate pipeline signals from Salesforce into actionable plans. You will analyze trends, identify risks, and drive data-driven staffing decisions.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in workforce planning, operations planning, or resource management.
Experience managing staffing across multiple accounts or business units.
Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
Proficiency in Excel (modeling, forecasting, data analysis).
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with ticketing systems and CRM tools (ServiceNow, Salesforce).
Background in operations, field services, or technical service environments.
Experience supporting project-based staffing models.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain short- and long-term workforce plans across multiple accounts.
Forecast headcount requirements based on historical demand trends, workload, and pipeline opportunities.
Monitor capacity vs. demand and recommend staffing adjustments.
Coordinate workforce allocation across multiple client accounts.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet SLA and operational targets.
Prioritize and shift resources dynamically based on workload fluctuations.
Plan staffing for large-scale or complex initiatives with project managers.
Track project-based resource utilization and performance.
Incorporate demand signals from Salesforce pipeline and local market intelligence.
Translate pipeline data into actionable workforce plans and collaborate with Sales.
