Job summary

Warren Equipment Company in Midland, TX is seeking an Engine Sales Coordinator to coordinate engine sales orders and inventory orders. You will manage credits, process approved sales orders, and work with applications and project management teams to meet CAT requirements.

The role requires a business degree or equivalent experience, strong reading and communication skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Manage upfront and post-sale credits in Caterpillar systems for applicable sales related to focus programs.
• Process approved sales orders and revisions.
• Maintain and submit CAT requirements for Tier 4 pairings post audit and replacement engine orders with applications and project management teams.
• Issue PO's for CAT non-factory orders and rig-up shop work orders.
• Process engine related vendor invoices for payment.
• Review CAT Factory order acknowledgements and update information in Warren and Caterpillar systems.
• Monitor and adjust sales backlog for reporting and financial visibility.
• Monitor orders in WCAT/Caterpillar systems and import CAT orders report.
• Process delivery orders and inventory control transactions.
• Manage and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
• Complete closing summaries/deal sheets including cost estimates as needed.
• Review monthly gross profit after invoicing to prepare management reports.
• Manage CAT inventory report and internal late delivery summary.
• Track discrepancies in CAT and Warren systems.
• Attend safety, production, and team meetings as required.
