Interstates is seeking a Growth-minded Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the Energy market, with an initial focus on Power Generation. You will open doors, build relationships with owners, EPCs, OEMs, contractors, and partners, and connect client needs with Interstates' capabilities.

This role targets strategic growth in a priority market, with travel up to 50% and locations near an Interstates office in Sioux Center, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, Omaha, NE, or Fort Collins, CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Regularly engage with clients and prospective customers to understand priorities and develop strategic opportunities for Interstates in the Energy market.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Energy market.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to build growth strategies for the Energy market.
• Develop and promote strategic partnerships that strengthen Interstates' position in the Energy market.
• Lead proposal teams by setting direction and communicating Interstates' value.
• Attend Energy-focused trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
• Coordinate requirements, develop contracts, and support transition from BD to operations.
