Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager in Chandler, AZ to serve as the primary contact for our clients and deliver tailored benefits solutions. You will manage client relationships, assess needs, and coordinate with carriers to implement programs.

Responsibilities include presenting proposals, renewals, and enrollment materials, conducting open enrollment meetings, and keeping clients informed on market trends and regulatory changes to ensure exemplary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Proven account management or benefits/insurance experience.
• Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License preferred or to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary account manager for assigned client accounts, understanding business needs and delivering comprehensive employee benefit strategies.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Consult with clients to assess employee benefits needs, recommend solutions, and assist with program implementation.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of inquiries.
• Prepare and present proposals, policy renewals, and enrollment materials with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Stay informed on trends, marketplace changes, and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits to provide clients with expert guidance.
• Conduct open enrollment meetings and provide training for employees on available benefit options.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance client satisfaction, and contribute to team success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align organizational goals and ensure consistent service delivery to clients.
• Manage account renewals, provide claims support, and oversee benefit plan administration throughout the lifecycle of each client partnership.
