The Jonus Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive in Charlotte, NC. You will partner with clients to manage benefits programs and deliver exceptional service, while aligning solutions with business goals.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, plus knowledge of ACA/HIPAA/ERISA. You will collaborate with internal teams and carriers to optimize plans and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, HR, or related field or relevant experience.
• Active Life and Health (L&H) insurance license.
• Proven Account Executive experience in employee benefits or insurance.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations (ACA, HIPAA, ERISA).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with client relationship management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients and manage benefits programs.
• Build and maintain client relationships to understand business needs and goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored benefits solutions.
• Provide guidance on plans including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness.
• Conduct reviews, propose cost-saving strategies, and enhance engagement.
• Facilitate renewals, open enrollment, and employee communications.
• Negotiate with carriers and vendors for favorable terms.
• Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Prepare presentations and analyses to support decision making.
