Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a highly motivated Employee Benefits Account Manager for a remote opportunity. You will manage a portfolio of small group accounts (50-100 employees, some 2-19), handle renewals, enrollments, and claims, and provide exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate holds an active Life & Health license, has at least 2 years of benefits account management experience, is proficient with Zywave Brokerage Builder and will transition to BenefitPoint.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of employee benefits account management experience.
• Proficiency with Zywave Brokerage Builder; transition to BenefitPoint.
• Knowledge of fully insured and level-funded plans.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking skills.
• Responsive and timely client and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of small group accounts (primarily groups of 50-100 employees, with some 2-19).
• Handle renewals, light open enrollment presentations, enrollments, and claims.
• Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
• Utilize Zywave Brokerage Builder software (transitioning to BenefitPoint next year) to manage client accounts and documentation.
• Maintain responsiveness and professionalism in all client and team communications.
