Qualifications

• Experience in employee benefits account management, including client servicing, renewals, and enrollment support.
• Knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, disability, and related employee benefit products and plan designs.
• Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and agency/benefits management systems; ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Attention to detail and analytical ability to review proposals, plan options, and billing or claims discrepancies.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with producers, underwriters, carriers, and internal support teams.
• Familiarity with relevant compliance requirements (e.g., ACA, COBRA, ERISA) is strongly preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review benefits proposals and assist with renewals.
• Coordinate enrollment and eligibility changes.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Work with carriers on quotations, plan designs, and claims or billing issues.
