Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an EB Account Executive in Charlotte, NC who will manage a highly complex book of employee benefits business and serve as the primary service contact for clients. You will guide strategic decision-making, cultivate trusted relationships, and drive account growth through proactive service and cross-sell initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of benefits design, funding arrangements, and compliance, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in employee benefits or related marketplace.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to review complex information and develop strategic client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a highly complex book of business with multiple funding arrangements and customized plan designs.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients and carriers for proactive, personalized service.
• Lead client renewals, analyze utilization and negotiate terms with carriers.
• Develop and deliver client-facing deliverables and attend client meetings (on-site and virtual).
• Provide guidance on ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Form 5500 reporting, and Health Care Reform.
