Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an EB Account Executive to manage a highly complex book of employee benefits clients. You will serve as the primary service contact, guiding strategic decisions and ensuring a high-quality, long-term client experience.

You will lead renewals, analyze utilization, and negotiate terms with carriers while sharing advanced benefits and compliance expertise with clients and internal teams. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in employee benefits or related marketplace.
• Active Life and Disability license or ability to obtain within 4 months of employment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
• Strong, practical understanding of employee benefit plan design, funding arrangements, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a highly complex book of business with multiple funding arrangements and customized plan designs.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and insurance carriers to retain and grow complex relationships.
• Lead client renewals, including analysis of utilization results and negotiation with carriers.
• Provide advanced insurance and compliance guidance to clients and internal teams (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Form 5500, Health Care Reform).
• Develop proactive strategies to address business and benefit challenges and coordinate engagement with technical resources.
