Job summary

Leading Edge Administrators LLC is seeking an Account Executive to manage client accounts, coordinate renewal processes, and drive growth within a portfolio of self-funded benefits plans. This is a flexible role with remote work options and periodic in-person collaboration at our Tampa office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare insurance account management or sales, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a valid Producer license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of Account Manager or Account Executive sales experience in healthcare insurance.
• Valid Producer license in state worked in to be maintained.
• Life Agent license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee policy activity aspects of assigned accounts including implementation, enrollment, delinquencies, and related coverage.
• Manage self-funded employee benefits administration and assist clients with questions and billing issues.
• Understand products and determine opportunities for new product integration.
• Lead pre-renewal and renewal processes and assess client needs for best benefit options.
• Schedule quarterly in-person meetings with Brokers and Clients.
• Lead enrollment meetings and communicate benefits to client employees.
• Create and deliver client reports using benefit administration technology.
• Seek referrals from current clients and build relationships with brokers and key contacts.
• Travel up to 30% to support client engagement, possibly overnight.
