Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Buyer to source, negotiate, buy and manage a broad range of purchase requisitions in support of production in a compliant manner aligned with internal policies and procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and about 2 years of experience in purchasing electronics, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components, with ERP experience (Oracle) and strong analytical skills. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2 years experience purchasing electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components
• Contract Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in Materials, Supply Chain and/or Cost Accounting preferred
• Strong analytical and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities and process purchase requisitions in a timely manner
• Using MRP and/or manual requisitions, analyze demand to determine need
• Send out RFQ's for price and availability
• Negotiate price/volume/delivery dates
• Process RMA's
• Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries to meet production
• Resolve AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation
• Drive profitability through understanding material and labor costs
