The incumbent will oversee development, administration, evaluation, and advisory functions to ensure compliance with Federal statutes, regulations, and VA policies. The position requires navigating complex, sensitive matters, providing strategic guidance to management, and coordinating corrective actions throughout

Qualifications

• Independently establishes program priorities, interprets and applies Federal statutes, regulations, Executive Orders, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidance, VA policy, VHA directives, and other governing authorities.
• Resolves complex and sensitive matters and provides strategic advice to responsible management officials throughout the complaint process.
• Assists in preparing accurate and timely responses, identifies appropriate corrective and remedial options, and directs ADR and early-resolution activities.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Healthcare System Deputy Director.
• Oversees the development, administration, evaluation and advisory functions of the EEO program for the Orlando VA Healthcare System.
• Ensures compliance with Time-In-Grade requirements and qualification standards.
• Coordinates corrective actions and advisory services throughout the complaint process.
