Job summary

Benchmark Education Company LLC seeks an Educational Sales Consultant for Texas. You will develop strategic plans to identify opportunities, manage the territory with CRM, and coordinate training with customers and PD staff to ensure successful implementation of materials.

You will meet or exceed sales goals, generate quotes, and present print and digital products in diverse settings while leveraging exhibits and conferences to win new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or related.
• Three to five years of sales experience in a high-volume, fast-paced company.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task.
• Willingness to work long hours and meet deadlines.
• Educational publishing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals for the Texas territory within expense guidelines.
• Develop strategic plans to identify opportunities for supplemental, core, and PD sales.
• Manage the territory using CRM to enter and track opportunities, contacts, and outcomes.
• Generate quotes and provide support for proposals, including reviewing RFPs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and present in various settings to win business.
• Attend local, national, and regional exhibits as requested.
• Follow up on leads from ads, exhibits, conferences, and online sources.
• Coordinate product training with customers and PD staff as appropriate.
